It would be nice to see the anthem, but the broadcasters are more interested in commercial revenue. Showing the anthem could mean the loss of tens of thousands of dollars, and the networks showing the games are not interested in losing money.
It's also the same reason you rarely see ceremonial first pitchers, or other events before the game.
Because nobody wants to watch it, it's very boring. And most of the people they chose to perform are horrible. They only usually air it during the World Series.
because they have the guys that have to talk and explain to you the game plans and how the teams have been going. it takes up that time and they only have a certain amount of time for a baseball game.

I know tht the Yankees broadcast the national anthem and in the playoffs and the all star game they broadcast it but others might not broadcast it because they use tht time for more commercials which means mor money 4 them
Let's face it. We get enough pee breaks as it is. Playing the anthem at games didn't start until the 1940s, during the war. Like God Bless America in the 7th inning, it's pretty worn out. I really would rather watch a shaving commercial with a pretty girl on it. Or pee.

I'm sure people would get tired of it every single game. It's not necessary.
Truthfully I'd rather have my willie painfully snagged on my zipper than watch the national anthem broadcast for most games.
