Randy Johnson Retires While Holliday Stays Put

Johnson, a left-handed strikeout pitcher, amassed five Cy Young Awards and two no-hitters, including a perfect game. Holliday, a free-agent outfielder, and the Cardinals agreed on a seven-year, $120 million contract.
