How do you think the Phillies will do against the Yankees next week?
It is apparent that the Phillies haven’t been playing too well lately, or not as well as one would expect. The Yankees are recovering after their loss in Toronto, having won the series against the Orioles and hopefully sweeping the Astros tomorrow.
Posada may be able to catch on Tuesday or Wednesday, and A-Rod will be back in the line-up tomorrow.
I think the Yankees will take the series, if not sweep.

The Phillies play well against the Yankees, unlike the Red Sox. Also, they hit Yankees pitchers well. Horrible part is they have to face Tim Wakefield tomorrow, and this whole slump started when they saw him and his knuckle ball. I fear that the worst has yet to come. I think the Phillies win at least one, definitely no sweep. But I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see them swept, this is a horrible team right now.

The way both teams are playing at the present time I have to go with the Yankees. The Phillies have offensive problems. They are still not consistent and that will hurt them in the long run. After watching Moyer last night I Phillies would do well not to keep him in the rotation. He had absolutely nothing on any of his pitches. 82 mph doesn’t cut it, specially against the most potent lineup in baseball.
The Yankees are starting to put it together and it won’t be long before they control the AL East again. This series will be very important for both teams. More so for the Phillies. I believe it can either make or break their season, even though it’s only June.
The Yankees are going to win all 3 game because the Phillies are NOT playing good
If they are lucky 2 out of 3 otherwise they will lose 2 games or get swept altogether things are not looking good for the Phillies however the Yankees are not as good either so they have a chance.
