How are the Yankees scoring with so many injuries?
The Yankees continue to roll through the league with their championship swagger. Nick Johnson out, Jorge out, Granderson out. How do they keep scoring runs? I mean Randy Winn? Come on lol.

With Posada out, Francisco Cervelli stepped it up and came big with 5 RBIs. Don’t underestimate him. I believe he’ll be the one to replace Posada when he retires (contrary to popular belief that prospect Jesus Montero is the one). Winn isn’t my favorite of players, but he’ll get the job done when asked. Nick Johnson hasn’t been missed. He’s been slumping worse than Teixeira. How about dropping him to Triple-A and bringing up a prospect to try out? It’s gotta be better for the Yankees than continuing to start Johnson.
Just imagine if they were healthy.
Teixeira is starting to perform. Cervelli has been stepping it up. Joba has been closing while Mo chills out for a while. They are showing the world that the New York Yankees are good with their homegrown players. They don’t just buy players like the morons up in Boston think

johnson and granderson weren’t doing that well to begin with. randy winn and cereveli are actually starting to come around, tex is coming out of his slump quickly and everyone else is doing amazing, especially swisher. our starting pitching is amazing (except javy) and hughes is really starting to come around.
because everyone else is doing amazing and just smacking the ball, especially swish and cano. plus NJ was slumping really bad with an average below 0.200, and Granderson wasn’t much hotter. Cervelli has been a perfect replacement for Jorge. have you seen him this series, with all those RBIs? Winn has been doing just fine as well and tex is breakin out of his slump.
They have so many weapons. It does not hurt when you win 7 straight and only give up 18 runs. That will get you wins. The hits are nice. What are the most runs they have given up the last week. 3….Not so close to 14 huh?
