you’re all completely missing the point. I liked this because it’s like, softball is just as hard as baseball, no matter how many of you think it’s easy. Nobody said hitting a baseball was easy at all.

so yall are trying to say these chunky softball girls are better than major league baseball players because they can hit a softball ahahahaha….if they can hit it i have a feeling alex rodriguez or derek jeter MIGHT be able to bomb it

You think a major league all start could hit a great softball pitcher? really? are you sure?
    Yeah, I don’t think so…

In a 1967 exhibition at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Eddie Feigner (the king and his court) faced a lineup of six Major League Baseball players (five of whom were later elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame). He struck out all six — Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Brooks Robinson, Willie McCovey, Maury Wills and Harmon Killebrew — in succession.

in softball they stand like 43ft no shit its going to be hard to hit if he was used that im sure he could have hit that.

Softball and baseball are two very different things. Jennie is an amazing pitcher whose pitches probably move perfectly. It is hard to hit a softball because of how close the pitcher is and the movement. They can’t put the pitchers at the same distance because in a game, they pitch from those distances.

This is complete bull shnat. This whole episode was against baseball. you can tell. for me, hittin a baseball is hard. ive been playing for 9 years and its still hard. but they didnt even get a softball batter to HIT a baseball. basically, the only thing i learned from watching this, is that for you to be good at hitting a baseball, you need to have experience in hitting it. the same goes for softball.

All you people who say that they performed the test wrong then you need to look at it again cuz in softball the rules are different than baseball and u can’t make them the same cuz then the results wouldn’t be accurate. The rules in softball make it harder for batters to hit the ball so there the rules are the rules and that’s what makes it harder Oh and I am a guy and play baseball so don’t think I’m biased because if the sport I play

she is like the best softball pitcher of all time. the baseballball pitcher wasnt throwing junk. so this isnt very accurate.

Ya I bet if they brought a actual softball player she would crank that softball and strike out on the baseball bitch so the myths not proved

personally i dont think softball is harder i think they are equal but this video helps me prove that softball isnt a whimpy sport, its just as hard as any other sport. because the bases are closer its harder to steal and be safe because we cant leave till the ball is released…also a softball has more mass making it not able to go as far, thus a smaller field, and the windup isnt as easy as it looks either which is why we pitch closer and even though the ball is bigger the bat is smaller

Bring in Albert Pujols hell hit a home run out of that softball

they didn’t take the mass of the softball into consideration? call that science if you like but it’s not… it’s all about the second part of this clip, the time to react and the rising pitch confused the batter.

@kerrkerr729 soft ball balls are alot bigger and harder thats why genius

This was setup for softball to be harder
    1. This is probably the first time Bryan Byrne has ever faced a softball pitcher, so they cant expect him to go up and hit it right away
    2. Jennie Finch is the best softball pitcher, bring in Brad Penny and have some unheard of softball player try to hit him, i guarentee she couldnt
    3. There completely different sports, why dont you have a football player try to stop shots from David Beckham, to see which sport is harder

also i would like to point out that the picher in this video is FEMALE and throws 70mph, in australia the best MALE pitcher throws 85MPH+ and jumps off the plate about 10ft, now if you work out that reaction time it is about 0.250sec, which is ALOT!!!!!!! harder than baseball.

ok.. i would like to put this to dead. about 5 years ago 2 australian softballers were asked to trial wif baseballl pro ball, they declined so the could play in the world champs. these 2 players btw were awsome at aussie Aball ( which i no is not that impressive).

@kerrkerr729 i dont recall the baseball player throwing a softball but if he did maybe he could break it too i mean it is 95 mph that any softball player couldn’t hit but who knows they didn’t test that.

    @GURILLAkrd
hey genius, the softball broke the equiptment because the force was greater. maybe if you actually played softball you’d understand… :(

this is biased because the hitter was used to the baseball pitches, but a stranger to softball pitches. not to mention baseball has much more hitting then softball
